What to ask from a Hairfall Patient?

Before asking the following questions, please follow the protocol as suggested in the ‘Incoming/Outgoing Calls Handling Tips’

If the patient is a male:

• What is your age?
• Since when your hair fall is occurring?
• Are you suffering from Anemia, Constipation, Diabetes? Or, any other ailment?
• Are you taking any weight loss or weight gain medicines?
• Do you have Thyroid disorder?
• Do you have family members with the same problem? (this is to probe genetical issue)

If the patient is a female:

• All the above questions, plus:
• Are you suffering from PCOD?
• Do you have children? If yes, how old are they? (recent childbirth can be a cause)
• Did you ever suffer from Jaundice?
